Nemours is seeking a Talent Development and Engagement Consultant (FULL-TIME), to join our team in either Jacksonville, Florida or Orlando, Florida.
At Nemours, each Associate plays a vital role in supporting the delivery of world-class pediatric care to the children we serve. The team based at our home office in Jacksonville, Fla. provides essential administrative, financial and technical support to Nemours operations across all locations.
This position is responsible for:
Consulting, designing and delivering solutions to leaders and associates that optimize performance, engagement, and effectiveness at the individual, group and organization levels. This individual is responsible for achieving desired business results via the identification, design, development, facilitation and implementation of Talent Development projects and programs in areas such as organizational effectiveness, leadership development, training and development, behavioral dynamics in the workplace, team development, organizational culture, change management, performance management and engagement.
In alignment with organizational, development, and engagement strategies, this position works in conjunction with the Talent Development and Engagement Manager and the Director of Talent Development.
Provides thought leadership regarding engagement initiatives across the organization, advises on strategies and approaches to improve and sustain associate/provider engagement.
Partners with internal and external stakeholders to design and deliver custom content and/or programs to advance engagement practices across the enterprise.
Serves as an engagement coach, facilitator, and resource to enterprise leaders.
Research and shares empirically supported best practices around associate/provider engagement.
Contributes to the strategic direction of engagement across the organization, including ensuring that the service and delivery model are aligned with the organizational culture and scalable in support of business goals.
Compile and analyze engagement data to help identify trends, opportunities, and engagement priorities.
Delivers HR and Talent Development-related training, including facilitation and computer based learning media.
Support enterprise efforts to crosswalk engagement data with culture of safety, outcomes and patient experience data. Share data about the relationship of engagement to patient experience and clinical outcomes in a manner that highlights the criticality of high engagement.
Facilitates, supports and consults on endeavors to engender organizational values and the creation of the Nemours culture.
Provides coaching and facilitation in change management, organization effectiveness and performance issues.
Ability to conduct an assessment, formulates a diagnosis, and implement interventions to improve the work environment and engagement.
Ability to facilitate group exercises and deliver exceptional training.
Ability to provide individual coaching and/or counseling around career development, improving individual workplace performance, and personal development.
