Responsible for providing highly individualized sports pefromance training for clients within the RESULTS program.for the purpose of performance, technical and functional improvement to clients focused on the highest levels of athletic performance. Participates in all infection control, departmental equipment training, organizational safety and fire safety programs. Represents the program within the community through outreach and professional relationships.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs sport specific performance assessments and works with athletic population, groups and individuals to establish performance or function goals, designs and leads specialized training programs to achieve these goals.
Ability to observe and evaluate program impact and provide continous feedback to the athlete
Is proficient in the use of Dartfish, performance and motion analysis to assist athletes in improving performance.
Performs all aspects of training in an environment that optimizes safety and reduces the likelihood of injury
Is active in community outreach, with local club, school and college coaches to assess community needs and promotion of the RESULTS program.
Treats clients and their families with respect and dignity.
Manages and operates equipment safely and correctly. Maintains department cleanliness and safety.
Interacts professionally with client and family with focus on individualized goals
Works collaboratively with the departments of the Orthopedic Center of Montana to enhance service and outcomes
Demonstrates an ability to be flexible, organized and function under stressful situations.
Maintains a good working relationship both within the department and with other departments.
Participates in educational staff performance improvement in-services. Assists with orientation and in-service training for certified department staff members, participates in guidance and educational programs.
Participates in infection control, departmental training equipment training and organizational CQI activities.
Demonstrates the ability to deal with pressure to meet deadlines, to be accurate, and to handle constantly changing situations.
Demonstrates the ability to deal with a variety of people, deal with stressful situations, and handle conflict.
Adheres to dress code.
Completes annual educational requirements.
Maintains regulatory requirements.
Wears identification while on duty.

Attends department staff meetings as required within the department.
Reports to work on time and as scheduled; completes work in designated time.
Represents the organization in a positive and professional manner.
Actively participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities.
Coordinates efforts in meeting regulatory compliance, federal, state and local regulations and standards

Bachelors Degree in Exercise Physiology, or Sports mangagment and performance, preferred.
