Abrazo West Campus (located at 136th Avenue and McDowell Road in Goodyear) is a 200-bed acute care hospital serving the healthcare needs of the residents of the southwest Valley since September 2003. Act as the primary liaison between the user community, application vendors, and to other IS resources. Responsibilities include leading system design sessions, system build, testing, debugging, policy and procedure development, user training, and implementation support. Coordinate system change requests (including upgrades) for assigned service lines. Consult with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives. Write software modification specifications as needed. May be expected to write documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, corrections and manuals for users to describe installation and operating procedures. Participate in or lead software selection processes as requested. Provide ongoing support and communication to service lines. Cross-trained to support multiple applications. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Has knowledge of patient care environment and in-depth knowledge of hospital processes. Must have a working knowledge of relational databases and client-server concepts. Able to employ expert report development tools and custom data application tools at an advanced level of expertise. Travel Requirement: Amount of travel will vary depending on projects and tasks that are being worked at any given point in time.
#LI-MB1 Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Experience in various Radiology and Cardiology information systems. Bachelors degree in related area or 5 years of experience in the field.
Familiarity/experience in information technology or PACS, working knowledge of PACS, understanding of RIS system and functionality, knowledge of modality interfacing methods, comprehensive knowledge of different technical modalities, and project management. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in cardiology and radiology imaging is strongly desired.
