As a staff Occupational Therapist with the VISN Rehabilitation and Extended Care (REC) Clinical Resource Hub (CRH), the incumbent serves as a consultant in the provision of OT services for the VA network, OT profession and the community at large. The incumbent independently applies the knowledge of contemporary OT theory, practice skills, and techniques; inclusive of cognition, psychological sequelae, physical and environmental contexts, and implications of medical conditions on daily function.
Providing Health Care for Veterans: The Veterans Health Administration is America’s largest integrated health care system, providing care at 1,255 health care facilities, including 170 medical centers and 1,074 outpatient sites of care of varying complexity (VHA outpatient clinics), serving 9 million enrolled Veterans each year.
