Nationwide Children’s Hospital and the Department of Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine are seeking a qualified Pediatrician for the Comprehensive Pediatric Feeding and Swallowing Program (CPFSP).

CPFSP provides care to children with pediatric feeding disorders of the highest level of severity and need.  Our team utilizes a transdisciplinary approach including physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, dietitians, psychologists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, social workers, developmental support assistants, and a chef.  This collaborative approach is highly integrated and involves cross training amongst each discipline to provide patients with the best possible comprehensive care. 

CPFSP is in the midst of an exciting expansion. The clinical and administrative space is undergoing a complete renovation. Clinical capacity will increase across our integrated outpatient service models including one of the largest Intensive Feeding Programs in the country.

Candidates must be BC/BE in their primary specialty.  Demonstrated experience in the developmental aspects of feeding disorders is preferred. Graduating residents are welcome to apply.

Academic rank is open and commensurate with experience. Candidates must have excellent communication skills, be able to think critically, have a strong medical background to provide outstanding medical care, and understand the importance of teamwork.

Research, quality improvement, and education are core activities of the department. We are actively involved in improving the care for all children in Ohio through our Accountable Care Organization, Partners for Kids.  We have also launched ECHO Feeding, an exciting program to increase treatment access by training community providers in treating Pediatric Feeding Disorders through case-based learning.
