Perform a variety of specialized technical and supportive patient care activities to assist medical professional personnel in diagnostic, therapeutic and research procedures.

Operate equipment such as polygraphs, magnetic and video tape recorders and X-ray machines to monitor and obtain recordings of specific body functions; calculate, compile and record data obtained from graphs and numerical readings. Operate manual and automatic laboratory equipment to make qualitative and quantitative analyses of specimens. Calibrate and perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning;clean and sterilize instruments, supplies and equipment. inventory of supplies; reorder as required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Work requires completion of a related 1 year technical school program.
Work generally requires two years of experience in health care EXPERIENCE specialties related to the specific position; two years additional years related experience may be substituted for the technical school. OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OR
