Required Qualifications

• M.D. or D.O degree
  • A) Successful completion of an ACGME- accredited Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program, or     
  • B) For truly exceptional academic orthopaedic surgeons who have received graduate medical education outside the United States or Canada, completion of an Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program with documentation of eligibility for board certification through the Academic Pathway for the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery
• Successful completion of an ACGME or POSNA-accredited Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery Fellowship Program
• Texas medical license, or eligibility for medical licensure in Texas

Preferred Qualifications

• Board certification in Orthopaedic Surgery by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery
• Bilingual English/Spanish
• Emerging or established regional or national reputation for the rank of Associate Professor or higher
