The group has eight locations in the greater San Antonio area. Two of these locations, The Orthopaedic Institute and Ridgewood Surgery Center of San Antonio, are centers for comprehensive orthopaedic care that support sixteen O.R.’s, imaging centers, physical and hand therapy centers, and a sophisticated conference facility.
We are seeking an Orthopaedic Non-Operative Primary Care Sports Medicine Physician to join our growing private practice based in San Antonio, TX. We are an integrative practice that focuses on evidence-based medicine. The ideal candidate for this position is an individual with expertise in primary care and sports medicine, who is looking to expand their skillset as a proceduralist in orthobiologics and regenerative medicine.

Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive orthopaedic non-operative primary care services to adult and adolescent patients, with a focus on musculoskeletal health and sports-related injuries.
Perform ultrasound-guided procedures, including injections and minor musculoskeletal interventions.
Utilize orthobiologics in the management of musculoskeletal conditions.
Coordinate and collaborate with multiple providers in an integrated multispecialty organization.
Stay up to date with the latest advancements in sports medicine and primary care.
Be involved in local and regional sports medicine community endeavors.
Qualifications:
Board Certified or Board Eligible
Ideal candidate will have successfully completed US Primary Care Residency and Sports Medicine Fellowship programs
Certificate of Added Qualification in Sports Medicine - we will consider outstanding physicians with board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or PM&R with a strong interest in sports medicine, but do not yet have a CAQ in Sports Medicine
Strong clinical skills and experience in primary care and sports medicine
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for patient care and a commitment to providing exceptional service
