BJC HealthCare System is seeking a Full-Time Charge Orthopedic General Radiology Technologist for the Center For Advanced Medicine (CAM) in Barnes-Jewish Hospital
Position Details:
- Day Shift Hours: Monday - Friday rotating weekly (6:30am -3pm) & (8:30am - 5pm)
- Lead team in day-to-day tasks, manage and run workflow, Problem solving, Scheduling, Reporting, Perform diagnostic orthopedic imaging CR and DR and procedures under c-arm, along with other day to day tasks within the department
- 2 plus years Orthopedic and C Arm Experience (highly preferred)
- NO Evenings/Holidays/Weekends
Requirements:
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography - R.T.(R)
- Associate's Degree or Trade School equivalency (or higher level of education)
- 2 years or more experience

In fact, our radiology department is regarded as one of the top five in the United States, and performs over 453,000 diagnostic imaging examinations annually.
Preferred Qualifications
Role Purpose
Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in general radiology on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control. Assists staff technologist in prioritizing and problem-solving patient care or imaging issues, and serves as a resource person. Delegates tasks to ensure proper daily operations. Assumes responsibilities of supervisor in their absence. Assists in the development and training of students and/or new employees. Provides continuing mentorship to the team.
